Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn Skills Sessions on Show Floor.

Facebook for Smarties, Taking LinkedIn up a Notch and Twitter in 20 are just some of thelive education sessions taking place on the show floor as part of a SocialTech Clinic at AIBTM (www.aibtm.com) later this month. Created as a platform for trade and Hosted Buyers to talk with a team of professionals, the Clinic aims to help develop social technology skills in a fun, non-intimidating setting.

Running from 10am until 6pm every day of the AIBTM expo, the SocialTech Clinic is held by Midori Connolly, CEO and Chief AV Gurl at Pulse Staging and Events – best known for producing the industry’s first set of guidelines for sustainable AudioVisual Staging. Midori is a Platinum Speaker for MPI, and a Director on the Green Meetings Industry Council International Board of Directors.

“By now you’ve probably come to terms with the fact that there is a true business value inusing social technologies to support your event, marketing and engagement strategies. With approximately 200 million users on Twitter, LinkedIn at 100 million and 675 million on Facebook, a significant percentage of the population is using social technologies to network/connect with peers, obtain education and market their products or services” says Midori.
