Such results were received during the survey of The Futures Company. 13 thousand travellers from 12 countries took part in the poll.

The survey showed that the majority of Russian and Chinese tourists prefer to pay by cash during holidays. Moreover, the number of the Chinese (46%) who prefer to pay by cash almost in two times less than the number of the Russians (72%). The travellers from other countries prefer to pay by credit or debit cards. For example, 65% tourists from the USA pay for travel services using credit cards and 40% of the British travellers use debit cards.

It’s not surprising that the Russian tourists have been included in TOP10 of nations-shoppers.

It’s interesting that ground services amount more than 70% of all the expenses of travellers. The survey also showed that the main reason for the rare trips is a lack of free time for the Chinese and a lack of money for the Russians. Source: www.atorus.ru
