ABTS CONVENTION SERVICES ANNOUNCES THE ADDITION OF INDUSTRY LEADER ELI GORIN, CMP AS DIRECTOR OF QUALITY CONTROL

MIAMI, FL (July 21, 2010) – ABTS Convention Services (ABTS), a housing and corporate travel provider specializing in supporting and increasing medical association’s international attendees, announced today the addition of Eli Gorin, CMP, as Director of Quality Control.
“We are delighted to welcome the addition of such a seasoned, influential meetings industry leader,” said Davide Veglia, ABTS President. “In his new post, Eli will be instrumental in overseeing the development and implementation of operations strategies which will streamline ABTS’s expanding presence and support the company vision and success.”
Gorin will contribute his industry knowledge and experience to ABTS and will work closely with the executive teams in Miami, Rome, San Francisco and Belgrade to execute operations across the various internal divisions of the company as it continues to grow. He will also ensure the ongoing delivery of a highly customized, quality service offering for the company’s clientele.
Formerly President of his own meeting management company gMeetings, Inc., Gorin is a frequent industry event speaker who will continue to speak at industry events as part of ABTS. He has worked in various capacities within the meetings industry, being recognized by MeetingNews’ list of “25 Most Influential People in the Meetings Industry in 2007.” In 2009 he was invited to be part of Meeting Professionals International’s Senior Cadre of Accredited Trainers for the association’s Global Training Initiative.
Mr. Gorin received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from George Washington University’s prestigious Event Management program, as well as an MBA in Leadership and Quality Management from the University of Miami. A major proponent of industry education, he is a member of the adjunct faculty of the GWU Event Management Certificate Program and taught as an adjunct professor at Johnson & Wales University in North Miami, FL.
