Barcelona, 15th of September 2010.- Eurostars Hotels is gaining ground as one of the leading hotel chains in Rome with the opening of two new establishments: the Eurostars Roma Aeterna 4* and the Eurostars Saint John 4*. With these two additions, the chain now has five hotels in the capital of Italy, which are joined by two other hotels that are part of the hotel division of Grupo Hotusa.
Amancio López Seijas, Chair of Grupo Hotusa, claims that “with the addition of the Eurostars Roma Aeterna 4* and the Eurostars Saint John 4*, we are expanding our extensive presence in Rome with hotels that meet the needs of both business travellers and vacationers”. López Seijas also states that “Italy has been and remains a strategic destination for our company, therefore the first establishment in our hotel division outside of Spain was in that country”.
Besides the two new hotels in the capital of Italy, Eurostars Hotels also boasts the Eurostars International Palace 4*, the Eurostars Roma Congress & Conference Center 4* and the Eurostars Domus Aurea 3*. The chain’s range of hotels in Italy also includes the Eurostars Toscana 4*, located in Lucca.
The Eurostars Roma Aeterna 4* is housed in the century-old headquarters of the Italy pharmaceutical company Serono in the Pigneto neighbourhood. This emblematic building was totally overhauled to turn it into a high-end hotel with facilities including 144 rooms, nine of them suites, almost 700 m2 in meeting rooms, a fitness room with sauna and a gourmet restaurant clad Travertino marble with an open floor plan, which opens onto a terrace measuring more than 200 square metres.
Its interior design, which is clearly functional, features a painstaking combination of modern materials like stainless steel and glass along with the softness of velvety textiles and the elegance of furniture made of wenge wood, not to mention the Travertino marble used for the bathrooms. The range of colours featured in the hotel’s decor includes eggplant, chocolate and gold, the colours of the Eternal City. The rooms feature a painting hung over the bedstead depicting the most representative nooks and buildings in the city.
The hotel’s seven meeting rooms, which range from 28 to 245 square metres, offer modern facilities for holding all kinds of events, from small working meetings to social events like weddings and banquets.
Likewise, the Eurostars Saint John 4* is a select hotel featuring modern interior design which has 83 elegant, recently renovated rooms as well as a restaurant and two full meeting rooms
