Hamburg makes an international appearance at EIBTM

Hamburg Convention Bureau and nine other Hamburg partner organisations represent the region’s event industry in an international setting

Hamburg, 29th November 2010 – From 30 November to 2 December, the Hamburg Convention Bureau GmbH will be present for the second time at EIBTM in Barcelona, together with nine other partner organisations of Hamburg. At the German stand, which is hosted by the German Convention Bureau and that spans a large 504 square metres, the regional Hamburg office and nine of its partners present the Hanseatic city of Hamburg and its diversity as a professional meeting and congress destination. The aim is to position the city against the global competition, gain new customers, generate and cultivate contacts as well as exchange knowledge and ideas with the global MICE industry.

“The EIBTM is highly esteemed among international trade visitors. For this reason, it is the ideal platform for bringing awareness to Hamburg as a congress and event destination on a global scale”, says Matthias Rieger, Head of the Hamburg Convention Bureau.

Hamburg’s partners at a glance

Hamburg’s numerous partners include the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg, the CPO Hanser Service and Interplan AG as well as the Prototyp car museum located in Hamburg’s Speicherstadt and the hotels Radisson Blu Hamburg and Radisson Blu Hamburg Airport, Hotel Sofitel Hamburg Alter Wall, Hotel Atlantic Kempinski and Grand Elysée Hotel.
