Ovation Global DMC has unveiled the shortlist of nominees for its 2010 Huggability Award. This award was launched in 2009 to recognise those individuals who make a real impact within the meetings industry, those with the ‘huggability factor’.
After weeks of frenzied online nominations, voting has now closed and the winner will be revealed at EIBTM Barcelona where Ovation will exhibit on Stand G700. The awards ceremony will take place at 11.00am on Wednesday 1st December.
Commenting on the shortlist Patrick Delaney, Managing Director of Ovation Global DMC said ‘’There’s no doubt 2010 has proven to be as challenging a year for the meetings and events industry as 2009. Hugs are needed more than ever and Ovation Bear is here to celebrate the hug and those who deserve one’’.
