ACC Liverpool has appointed two new employees to its award winning sales team. The new additions are tasked with increasing association business to the BT Convention Centre, part of ACC Liverpool, and complement the existing team of seven whose remit includes corporate, regional and international sales.

Fiona Brown joins as Association Sales Manager and brings with her over four years of experience in conference sales with an emphasis on the association sector. Prior to ACC Liverpool she worked as Business Tourism Account Manager at Visit Chester & Cheshire. Her sound knowledge of the business tourism industry and Northwest region provides the ideal platform for promoting Liverpool as a destination to national and international conference organisers.

Sandra Eyre takes on the role of Association Sales Executive and has joined from Sefton MBC, where she worked as Business Tourism Development officer, promoting Southport as a conference destination. In her new role, Eyre will use her regional knowledge and travel and tourism background to target specific sectors that have a natural fit with Liverpool.

Head of Sales Kerrin MacPhie commented, “These new additions to the sales team reflect the increased levels of business into BT Convention Centre Liverpool and the venue’s potential to attract higher numbers of association and corporate business.  Both international association and corporate sectors are vital elements of our business mix and this recent investment to the sales team supports this fact.”
