Relax, unwind and delve into a good book while on holiday. Kuoni has teamed up with Penguin books to launch Reading Week at St James’s Club in Antigua.

Get ready for one-to-one bibliotheraphy sessions on the beach and stories over sunset cocktails at St James’s Club in Antigua. Reading Week will take place from 2-6 May 2011 and gives you the chance to relax and chat about favourite novels with other like-minded book worms.

The Reading Week in Antigua will be hosted by Radio 4 playwright Damian Barr, who also hosts the Literary Salon at exclusive Soho & Shoreditch House members’ clubs. This is where authors, ranging from Jenny Colgan to Louis de Bernières, read exclusive previews of their work before being interviewed live on stage.

Damian will be working with bibliotherapist Ella Berthoud, who will help you to find a good new read; and bestselling Penguin author Julia Llewellyn, who will host a dinner and sunset storytelling. Julia said: ‘Reading Weeks give frazzled book worms everywhere the chance to really get stuck into a novel in a holiday setting, with the added bonus of being able to meet over rum punches to discuss their reading. Reading Weeks should be available to all mums on the NHS.’
