A month characterized by variety at Fiera Milano.

The events scheduled will attract professionals of the medicine and chemistry, electronics, building and hospitality sectors. The general public will be attracted by a new event dedicated to marriage, and another important exhibition which already proved to be a success will bring horses back to Milan.

To begin with, the International Chemical Event Chem-Medwill be held at fieramilanocity from 5th to 7th: a showcase for product, technologies, processes and tools for the chemical industry; and Life-Med 2001, the international Life Sciences event made up of Nuce International (2nd International Exhibition for the Neutracetical and Cosmoceutical industry, “Functional Foods & Drinks” and “Health Ingredients” sectors), Biotech (3rd International event and conference on biotechnologies) and Algae Europe (2nd exhibition and conference on production technologies and industrial algaculture applications).

The most innovative ideas will be presented at the 4th Made Expo , scheduled at Fiera Milano (Rho) from October 5th to 8th. The excellences of the building sector, more than 1,700 Italian companies, will attend MADE Expo in order to present a complete industry offer – from the planning to the building phase, from services to technology solutions, from materials to finishing – while preserving the peculiarities of each sector.

The world of horses will welcome visitors from October 13th to 16th at the 2ndCAVALLIaMILANO exhibition (Fiera Milano – Rho). Four pavilions – for a total of 70,000 covered square meters and a 60,000 square meter area in the open air –  will be entirely devoted to horses in order to offer a four-day exhibition full of events, demonstrations, competitions and contests. The 6 Star National Jumping Competition, conceived by Uliano Vezzani, will be held also this year; the exhibition hosts a prestigious 3 Star International Competition where the best of the international dressage will be shown: And even more: the fascinating Western mount and dynamic American riding style; the elegant Spanish horses; and the marvelous Arab thoroughbred. This year’s topics of particular relevance are sport and the horses’ wellbeing, in collaboration with CAVALLIaMILANO Lab, a round table and debate platform hosting important experts in the horse sector.

Information technology is the protagonist of the 14th Smau, from October 19th to 21st at fieramilanocity. 600 IT solution providers, more than 500 new products, previews of new communication and electronics tools. There will also be workshops held by major Business Schools, consulting firms, and trade associations. More than 50,000 professionals are expected.

New this month is ForWedding , held at fieramilanocity from October 21st to 23rd: all services and products which will make your most beautiful day unforgettable. The general public will be offered a wide range of solutions from the fashion, beauty and travel sectors, as well as venues for their wedding party, photo services, bomboniere and cars.

The two-year Ho.Re.Ca. exhibition per excellence is opening its doors on October 21st:Host, the International Exhibition of the Hospitality Industry, will be held at Fiera Milano until October 25th. Six sectors will be hosted: Professional Catering, Bread Pizza Pasta, Bar and Coffee Machines, Ice Cream and Pastry industry, Hotel&Spa Emotion.

Vitrum , the interantional exhibition for glass machinery, equipment and systems, is scheduled at the end of the month at Fiera Milano from October 26th to 29th. The latest innovations and the most advanced technologies will be showcased; particular attention will be devoted to energy savings and renewable energy. Among this year’s new initiatives, visitors will find the Vitrum Gourmet Festival, a unique opportunity to meet the made-in-Italy art of cooking and four great master’s talent.
