The live Future Events Experience (www.eibtm.com) is set to return to EIBTM 2012, following a very successful launch at last year’s show. The interactive technology showcase on the exhibition floor will provide a unique opportunity for visitors to learn about new ways to enhance their meetings and events using the latest technology and services available to the industry.

Located near the EIBTM Lecture Theatre, the Future Events Experience (Stand O200) sponsored by Workscreen, will run in association with Newtonstrand and Eventskills. The feature area on the show floor will incorporate innovative bite-sized education, an experts clinic, a technology showcase area and networking opportunities for all. For the full programme please visit: www.eibtm.com/future

New to the show this year, KUBIKAT will showcase a fully automatic, solar charged, mobile studio operated by a tablet computer. Designed for sampling events, road shows, information points, show cooking, pop-up stores or street marketing, KUBIKAT is a sustainable innovation offering the latest technological solution to event spaces.

Participants will also be able to discover how augmented reality can bring events to life – virtually, using phones or tablets to point to a specific marker, which will make a static image in reality come to life virtually. Attendees will also learn how to use virtual projection to promote their brand.

In addition to this, Newtonstrand will be running a Live Studio, which will be broadcasting the Future Events Experience live on the EIBTM website and Facebook page and will also facilitate the use of E-Posters throughout the Future Events Experience. Delegates will be able to upload their brochures and E-Posters free of charge onto the interactive screens. This offers exhibitors a unique opportunity to reach show attendees with their key business messages.
