Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme to Host the Prestigious Romy Schneider & Patrick Dewaere Prize For French Cinema On March 11th 2013

The Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme Hotel (http://paris.vendome.hyatt.com) is pleased to collaborate with the best of French cinema, announcing that the prestigious Romy Schneider and Patrick Dewaere Prize will take place at the hotel on 11 March 2013.

Since its opening in 2002 the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, which is internationally renowned as one of the most luxurious 5 star hotels in Paris, has always affirmed its desire to bring all forms of art to the hotel. Michel Jauslin, CEO of Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, said;

Following this belief, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme strongly supports French cinema. It will be the host of the 32nd edition of the Romy-Schneider & Patrick Dewaere Prize, an award that has always uncovered new French talent, well ahead of their fame.

Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, Art Landmark:

Since its opening, Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme has exhibited a permanent contemporary art collection embodying works from internationally known artists. Guests can admire paintings, sculptures and drawings, either bought or specially made for Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme, perfectly integrated into the design of this unique hotel.

The diplayed works were chosen by famous gallery owner Darthea Speyer, in close collaboration with the hotel architect, Ed Tuttle. In this collection, numerous artists are to be found, from the scuptures of Roseline Granet to the canvas of Ed Paschke, the avant-garde artist Viswanadhan’s artwork, and a painting from Llyn Foulkes, representing with outstanding reality, a huge rock.
