ICAS8The Eighth International Convention of Asia Scholars (ICAS 8) will take place at CotaiExpo™ Hall D at The Venetian® Macao from June 24 to June 27, 2013. Organised by the University of Macau and co-hosted with the Macao Foundation, ICAS 8 will be the biggest academic conference ever hosted in Macao. 

More than 1,500 international scholars have submitted their proposals to ICAS 8. They will be organised into some 350 panels for the four-day conference. Participants from 56 countries and 600 higher institutes of learning will join the event in Macao. Among them, senior scholars from the world’s most renowned universities and research institutes will present their up-to-date research during the panel sessions.

While the largest proportion of participants will come from Asia, the United States, Europe, and Australia, scholars from as far as Egypt, Slovenia, Kazakhstan, Mauritius, Israel, Brazil, and other countries will also join the event. With the high profile of the participants and the spread of country representation, ICAS 8 will be the biggest and most important academic event in the entire Asian region in 2013.
