Central Hall Westminster achieves gold AIM accreditationCentral Hall Westminster announced that it has been awarded the acclaimed gold AIM (Accredited In Meetings) accreditation by the Meetings Industry Association (mia), following an independent and rigorous examination of the business.

As central London’s largest purpose built conference centre, Central Hall Westminster has been an active member of the mia for over ten years. The gold AIM accreditation has been awarded to the venue based on a variety of factors, including business planning, research and monitoring of customer needs, service delivery and continuous improvement.

Paul Southern, Managing Director at Central Hall Westminster, commented: “Central Hall Westminster is proud to have achieved the AIM Gold Standard. This is an important accreditation as it reassures the client that we can be trusted to provide a quality service in all areas that are important to event professionals looking for the right venue.

“Central Hall Westminster has always endeavoured to reach a higher level of excellence with a strong Corporate Social Responsibility and it is fantastic that this Gold AIM accreditation recognises our achievements.”

Jane Longhurst, mia chief executive, commented: “To be awarded AIM Gold is a significant achievement. To apply, a venue must have already qualified for AIM at Entry level. It is then required to complete a ten section self-assessment, produce a portfolio of evidence in support of its application and receive a visit from an independent assessor.  It requires tenacity and dedication and the venue teams that achieve AIM Gold have my utmost admiration and I congratulate them wholeheartedly.

“It’s a worthwhile endeavour, when a venue displays the AIM Gold insignia, bookers and planners are assured it will deliver the highest level of quality facilities, high-spec technology and equipment, with exceptional catering and superior customer service.”
