Speakers announced for September’s Healthcare Meetings Forum

The Healthcare Meetings Forum, where best practices in medical science meetings and congress will be shared among 150 healthcare meetings professionals, has revealed the names of several high-profile speakers taking to the stage. 

Speakers due to impart their insights on Tuesday 17th September include Roeland van Aelst, vice president of compliance EMEA and Canada at Johnson and Johnson, medical oncologist; Professor Daniel Hockhauser, and Joanna Lawler, global events director at AstraZeneca who will present their thoughts on corporate healthcare meetings matching future needs. Other panellists include Nigel Glover; global congress & events; Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Paul Archer of Virgo Health.

Speakers from the medical associations sector include Isabel Bardinet, chief executive officer of the European Society of Cardiology and Nancy Russotto, member of the EUCOMED Compliance panel as well as Susie Hide, Director of the European Association of Neurological Societies.

Agenda topics will include the challenges and solutions of integrating regulations and compliance for optimal event planning, the widening scope of multi-channel marketing and its impact on face to face meetings, and discussion of healthcare professionals’ requirements for scientific meetings.

The steering committee for the Healthcare Meetings Forum has actively sought to attract high-profile speakers. Committee members include Mark Handforth; Compliant Venues, Caroline Mackenzie from Congrex and Sharon Poole from Athena Medical Meetings.
