imago’s Burleigh Court has been awarded Gold in the Hotel of the Year category at the Leicester and Leicestershire Excellence in Tourism Awards. Burleigh Court will now go forward to the VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in the Large Hotel category.
Hosted by Leicester Shire Promotions, the awards celebrate excellence in service and were presented at a gala dinner at the Mercure Leicester The Grand Hotel at the end of November. imago’s award was collected by Emma Boynton, Head of Sales and Marketing, and Burleigh Court’s Food and Beverage Manager Simon Griffiths.
Burleigh Court, part of imago’s portfolio of venues, is a four star conference centre and hotel with 26 meeting rooms, 150 square metres of exhibition space, 225 bedrooms, bar, restaurant and leisure club which offers guests a well-equipped gym complete with swimming pool, sauna and a spa offering a range of relaxing treatments.
To thank the staff for their hard work throughout the year, imago hosted a table at the event, which was attended by key team members including Meetings and Events Manager Nicola Wilson, Operations Manager Guy Hodge, Front of House Manager Tatjana Walker, Customer Services Manager Natasha Hughes, Housekeeping Supervisor Marianna Mizurova, Restaurant Supervisor Diane Doyle and Senior Accounts Assistant Karen Willis.
