brighton“CSR is making its way back onto the agenda,” announces Darren Johnson, Convention Bureau Sales Manager, VisitBrighton.

VisitBrighton, the tourism body for Brighton & Hove has seen a noticeable increase in CSR based enquiries coming to the city, due largely to the early signs of improvement in the economic climate.

Explaining the reasons behind why organisers are turning to Brighton & Hove, Johnson comments: “Although it is undoubtedly still a tough trading time, organisers are increasingly acknowledging once again the importance of operating in an environmentally friendly way.

With Brighton & Hove renowned for its green credentials and expertise in delivering value-led events that result in a positive social impact on delegates with minimal impact on the environment, it is easy to see why the destination is ahead of the curve.

Voted green capital of Britain, Brighton & Hove is a city passionate about the environment and has a host of businesses which provide solutions such as environmentally friendly bike hire when traveling to and from a conference.
